Graduation is getting a diploma or academic degree or the ceremony that is sometimes associated with students who become graduates. Formal ceremony, referred to as the Commencement Exercises, are every term except for summer. The ceremony is scheduled one (1) month after the deadline of submission of grades.
Graduation, however, is not automatic. A STUDENT NEEDS TO APPLY TO GRADUATE. SCHEDULE FOR APPLICATION TO GRADUATE WILL BE POSTED AT THE WEBSITE.
Application to Graduate
Students enrolling for the final (last) term are considered to be graduating. It is important that students should inform the Registrar’s Office during the enrollment that they are graduating. With this, the Office of the University Registrar is prompted to review and evaluate the academic records of these students, in preparation for their application to graduate.
To apply for graduation from College, the steps below must be followed
1. Login to your Student Portal and click ‘Apply to Graduate’.
After 3 working days from the on-line application, the students will receive email instructions regarding their assessment
2. Assessment of Fees
After securing the assessment of fees, the students need to pay to the Cashier at the Accounting office within three (3) working days and present the receipt at the Office of the University Registrar.

5. Submission of Requirements (Masters with Thesis and Doctorate only)
After a successful final defense, students need to submit the following to their academic department: (a) Four (4) CDs. The CDs and the transparent cases are appropriately labeled as follows:
Title of thesis/dissertation:
Program:(e.g., PhD in Educational Management)
Name of School: La Salle University, Ozamiz City
Name of Student: Last name, first name, middle name
Month and year of Completion: e.g., June 2016
Name of faculty Adviser: Title, First name, middle initial, last name
(b) Approval sheet with complete signatures;
Deadline for submission should be checked with the academic departments.
(c) Three (3) hardbound copies of Thesis/Dissertation
6. Verification of List of Graduates
On the designated dates for verification, the students should check their name, degree, and awards (if any) against the list of candidates for graduation.
