Pasimula Opens SY 16-17
La Salle University – Integrated School opened School Year 2016-2017 with a Pasimula last June 17, 2016 at the LSU Arts Center.
The event highlighted the welcoming of new students – transferees, returnees, and froshies—as well as new teachers for this school year. It was the main objective of the ceremony.
The Classimo winners—the section which garnered the highest number of points in all activities steered for the previous school year in their respective category—were also given recognition. In category A, the class of Ms. Juvilen Daga-ang, Grade 3 - Br. Thomas Canon FSC was the overall champion. Meanwhile, Grade 6 – Victor Hille FSC of Sir Jade Soler was the winner for category B. Finally, for category C, Grade 10 Br. Fidelis Leddy FSC bagged as champions with their adviser, Ms. Lorilyn Alduhesa-Golez.
Various talents were showcased not only from the students, but also from the teachers, as they danced and graced the Arts Center stage in a special number.
The Pasimula has become an annual tradition of the Integrated School to open the school year with fun and success.
The said event was spearheaded by the Student Government officers with the guidance and leadership of their adviser, Ms. Iwi Maghanoy and the help of Sir Al-lyn Vocal.
