OBAF Human Resource Development Officers Visit LSU For A Training Grant In Japan

Mr. Radson Baldonado and Rex
Espantalion, Human Resource Development Officers of the OCEAN BRIDGE AND ARC
FOUNDATION, visited La Salle University last September 18, 2009 to discuss the
proposal of providing training program for graduating students and graduates in
Japan
for three years. The said meeting was arranged by the Director for Alumni
Relations and External Linkages Ralph Oscar C. Bagaboyboy to expand linkages
for students and teachers of La
Salle University.
Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology Engr. Grace T. Dolloso and
Dean of the College
of Computer
Studies Engr. Alrence S. Halibas joined the
meeting.
Initially, the group planned to hold an
Orientation activity and IQ Exam for training applicants on October 19 at the Arts Center.
Some schools in Pagadian City, Ozamiz
City and nearby
localities in the province are expected to attend the said activity.Mr.
Bagaboyboy hopes that, through this undertaking, La Salle University
will become a testing center of the training program and help unemployed
graduates and individuals to land good jobs after this. OCEAN
BRIDGE AND ARC FOUNDATION, INC. is a
duly registered foundation by virtue of the laws of the Republic of the Philippines
with the Securities and Exchange Commission that provides youth opportunities
for skills and talent enhancement under the Technical Education Skills
Development Authority ( TESDA )- Japan International Training Cooperation (
JITCO ) Skills and Technology Transfer Program.
