Aimcoop Recognized LSU As Community Partner

          The Aurora Integrated Multi-Purpose Cooperative has recognized recently La Salle University as its community partner during the Opening Program of the Medical Mission and 42nd Anniversary held last August 14, 2009 at the main office in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

 

           Now on its 2nd year of giving free medical services to the community of Aurora, AIMCOOP, founded in 1967, has successfully served throughout its many branches in Visayas and Mindanao and the holding of medical mission is their expression of thanks and gratitude to God for the blessings they received. The Board of Directors awarded La Salle University a Plaque of Appreciation for being an active partner in this undertaking. Director for Alumni Relations and External Linkages Director Ralph Oscar Bagaboyboy and the Dean of the College of Nursing, Sister Marilyn Bacsain, DC, received the award on behalf of the university and some nursing students and clinical instructors who were there to assist the said activity. In return, Bagaboyboy expressed his thanks, on behalf of the University Administration, to AIMCOOP and its constituents for making La Salle University their partner in this community endeavor. He added that the partnership of two institutions will really make a big difference in the lives of others as they serve for the glory of God.
