Vision
The Libraries and Media Center (LMC) aims to provide more than adequate learning and instructional resources with excellent library services to support the academic programs of the institution.
Mission
The LMC ensures the continuous acquisition of learning and instructional resources in varied formats to enhance classroom instruction, encourage research, extend library services through community outreach and promote continuous education through the use of library resources.
Objectives
- Provides the students, faculty and administrators with adequate, relevant, and well-organized collections of books, periodicals and other instructional materials, facilities and equipment
- Maintain efficient library services to cater to their teaching/learning needs
- Teach skills in the effective and independent use of the library and its resources
- Work with the faculty in the acquisition and utilization of library resources
- Help the students, faculty, staff and administrators establish a wide range of significant interests, and
- Extends services to the community outreach by sharing library resources.
