CHRISTIAN LIVING / RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Vision

The Christian Living / Religious Education envisions itself to produce graduates who are value-laden and concerned for the poor and the marginalized members of society through their thoughts, words and deeds.

Mission

The department commits itself to develop programs and activities that enable our students to read the signs of the times founded on the strength of the teachings of Christ and the Church and inspired by the charism of St. John Baptist de La Salle.

MATHEMATICS

Vision

It envisions itself as a department-producing graduates equipped with mathematical competence, creativity, decision-making and problem solving skills that will enable them to respond in a Christian way to the different challenges in life.

Mission

In the thrust of fulfilling the mission statement of La Salle University Integrated Scgool, the Math Department, composed of enthusiastic, dedicated and competent teachers, commits itself to the formation of refined Christian men and women able to aim higher in the pursuit of excellence.

SCIENCE

Vision

It envisions itself as a department that offers quality instruction for science and health programs.

Mission

The department provides opportunities for the students to grow intellectually and emotionally using the different science subjects as tools. The various concepts, skills and values developed in the classroom serve as the necessary factors in the formation of the whole individual.

ENGLISH

Vision

It envisions itself as a department producing graduates who are not only confident in expressing themselves in English as means of communication but also graduates who are concerned, compassionate and service-oriented and are able to respond to life’s different challenges in a Christian manner.

Mission

Composed of highly qualified, dynamic, dedicated and self-motivated teachers, the English Department provides functional program reinforced by activities which are geared toward the realization of the school’s thrust and mission.

FILIPINO

Bisyon

Ang pananaw ng Departamento ng Filipino ay magkaroon ng mga mag-aaral na may sapat na talino at kaalaman sa mga magagandang asal; maka-Diyos, maka-Bayan at maka-Tao. Mga mag-aaral na may damdamin sa kapwa-tao, lalong-lao na sa mga mahihirap makikita sa lipunang ginagalawan.

Misyon

Pinagsikapang ihanda ng Departamento ng Filipino ang iba’t –ibang gawain at palatuntunan upang mapaunlad ang kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral na maisabuhay at mapapahalagahan ang pagkakakilanlan ng kultura ng sambayanang Pilipino.

CIVICS AND CULTURE / SOCIAL STUDIES

Vision

The department envisions itself to produce graduates who are imbued with a deep sense of nationalism and service to the school, community and nation according to their capabilities and resources. With a strong foundation of Christian education and social values, they bring out a peaceful, united, just and prosperous society.

Mission

The department provides opportunities for the students to develop, strengthen and sustain desirable Filipino values and promote the Filipino heritage as well as global perspective as they respond critically to the various societal changes.

MUSIC, ARTS & PHYSICAL EDUCATION (MAPEH) / PHYSICAL EDUCATION, HEALTH & MUSIC (PEHM)

Vision

The Music, Arts, Health and Physical Education Department se es its role in the school’s pursuit of quality education for the youth in sports, dance, rhythm and music.

Mission

The department primarily assists the students attain a well-rounded personality with emphasis on their physical fitness/sports development and deep appreciation of dance and music.

TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD EDUCATION (TLE)

Vision

It envisions itself as a department that will hone and improve students’ skills in homemaking, practical living, entrepreneurship and informal technology. These are coupled with distinctive Lasallian character of discipline, diligence and concern for others and the environment. It visualizes students who are capable of living and working with positive outlook in life together with the members of their family and the larger community.

Mission

The department is committed to implement timely and updated curricular programs that will continuously enable students to develop their various potentials. The department will explore all means to provide students with relevant and practical skills-training that will guide them in coping with various technological changes.

COMPUTER EDUCATION

Vision

Computer education aims to develop, enhance, and equip the students with the necessary knowledge and skills in manipulating computer by offering quality and relevant instructions and activities in the different computer learning arena.

Mission

It provides opportunities and experiences for the students to develop and eventually master their learning skills in using computer in preparing themselves for the globally competitive world. The varied learning activities in the different computer learning areas serve as the guiding tools in the acquiring the needed and relevant computer education for their total learning development.
