Dr. Marte Emperio, the Vice-President of the High School Batch 1984, was elected as the new President of the ICC-La Salle Alumni Association of Ozamiz City Inc. for school year 2010-2012. He ran unopposed during an election held in the morning of December 26, 2009 at the Arts Center with the Director for Alumni Relations and External Linkages Ralph Oscar C. Bagaboyboy, presiding officer.. Also elected  with him are the following officers: Engr. Reynaldo Rada, who passed away last December 30, few days after the Grand Alumni Homecoming; Mrs. Nenita Ponteras- Secretary; Mrs. Teresita Ota- Treasurer and Mr. Andres Arsenal-Auditor.

    The officers had their Oath-Taking Ceremony during the Grand Alumni Homecoming Night on the same date, together with the officers of the alumni chapter of Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, with the Brother Jaime M. Dalumpines, FSC, the University Chancellor, as the Inducting Officer.
