VISION MISSION

School of Tourism and Hospitality Management is committed to providing the students with the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and Lasallian values to become successful hoteliers, restaurateurs, and tourism managers.

It also aspires to take the lead in offering time- responsive and innovative courses that meet the demand for industry- ready professionals for hotel and restaurants in the Philippines and abroad.

The Hospitality Management program is for young and adults who want to have a carrier in the hospitality services of hotel and dining. Students will learn to be aware and alert about minutest details in managing and operating hotels and restaurants. This program covers: sanitation, safety and hygiene; principles of food and menu planning; hospitality accounting; business ethics; bar management; cost control analysis; hospitality marketing; front office operations; housekeeping and laundry operations; food service techniques; and convention & events management.

The Tourism Management program is designed to equip students with knowledge, technical skills, and work habits required for a variety of entry-level positions in the Tourism Industry such as Travel Account Representative, Tour Coordinator, Local Tourism Officer, Airline Flight Attendant, Tour Escort/ Tour guide, Staff of the Department of Tourism and other tourism- oriented institutions.

Professional Opportunities

Graduates of these programs will be in great demand in the following fields: lodging, food service, recreation, travel and tourism- related businesses, and government establishments.

Purpose

To produce individuals who are professionally competent in the field of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and are socially responsible and are imbued with the qualities and values of a Lasallian.
